One agreement for all products & services

These Terms govern your use of all products and services offered by Seyhun Akyurek — including seyhunakyurek.com and related websites, AI tools and agents, consultancy & implementation services, APIs under /api/*, demos under /apps and /demos, and every mobile application published as Seyhun Akyurek on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By visiting the site, using an AI Tool, installing an App, or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance & scope

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Seyhun Akyurek, individual developer, Dubai, UAE (“we”, “us”, “our”). They apply to all Products & Services: (a) websites and their content; (b) AI Tools and agents, including demos and interactive tools; (c) consultancy, advisory and implementation Services; (d) every App distributed under our developer name on Apple App Store and Google Play; and (e) associated APIs, documentation and support. If you do not agree, do not use the site, AI Tools or Apps or engage the Services.

Where an App is subject to Apple’s or Google’s additional end-user terms, those store terms apply together with these Terms; if there is a conflict, the store terms prevail for that App to the extent required by the store (see §6). Consultancy Services may also be governed by a separate proposal/SOW — see §11.

2. Who we are

Seyhun Akyurek — AI Architect & Delivery Lead for banks and regulated enterprises, based in Dubai, UAE. Publisher of the portfolio site and of independent apps/services listed on our Apps pages (/apps) and in the respective store listings. Contact via /contact. No corporate entity is interposed; the contracting party is Seyhun Akyurek individually unless a separate consulting agreement states otherwise.

3. Products & services

We publish (a) websites and informational content (portfolio, case studies, playbooks, tools such as the AI Readiness Score and ROI Calculator), (b) AI Tools and agents (interactive demos, automations and standalone web tools — see /apps and /demos), (c) standalone mobile applications (utilities, AI demos, productivity tools) and (d) professional Services (consultancy, AI readiness audits, architecture and delivery engagements). Websites, AI Tools and Apps are generally self-contained; some call our APIs or third-party APIs to function. Demos under /demos are simulated (local constants, no live model call) unless explicitly marked live.

4. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the site or Apps.
  • If an App offers sign-in, you are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You represent that you have authority to accept these Terms and to grant device permissions you approve.

5. App license

Subject to these Terms and the applicable store terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use each App on devices you own or control, solely for personal or internal business use. You may not: copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or use the App to build a competing product; circumvent technical protections; or remove copyright/trademark notices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. App Store supplemental terms

Apple App Store: Apps distributed via the App Store are licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Apps, except as required by law. In the event of any failure of an App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price where applicable; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Google Play: Apps distributed via Google Play are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement. Google is not responsible for the App’s content or support except as required by law.

End-user support for Apps is provided by Seyhun Akyurek, not by Apple or Google. Contact us at /contact.

7. Purchases, subscriptions, payments & refunds

Billing and refunds are handled exclusively by the store that sold you the App.

We do not operate our own checkout for Apps. All paid App purchases, in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions are processed and billed by the Apple App Store (via App Store / Apple Media Services) or the Google Play Store (via Google Play Billing). Your payment method, taxes, invoicing, receipts and refunds are governed by the store’s terms and the store’s relationship with you.

  • Prices are shown in the store listing and may vary by region, currency and store. Promotional, introductory or regional pricing, where offered, is set in the store console.
  • Auto-renewing subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancellation must be done in the store (see below); deleting the App alone does not cancel a subscription.
  • Free trials, where offered, convert to paid at the end of the trial unless cancelled before renewal. Trial eligibility is determined by the store.
  • We do not store or see your payment card data and cannot directly charge, refund or modify a store-billed transaction.

How to manage or request a refund

  • Apple: Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com or via Apple Support. Apple’s refund decision is final and governed by Apple’s terms.
  • Google Play: Manage subscriptions in Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; request refunds via play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory or Google Play Support. Google’s refund decision is final and governed by Google’s terms.
  • For App Store entitlements that did not unlock after a successful purchase, contact us at /contact with your store receipt/order ID so we can verify the transaction with the store and restore access.

Service quality: App distribution, review, availability and billing infrastructure are operated by Apple and Google. We are responsible for the App’s functionality as described in its listing; the stores are responsible for distribution, download and payment processing. Any claim about billing errors, unauthorized charges or statutory consumer rights relating to the purchase itself should be directed to the relevant store. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

Website consulting engagements, where applicable, are invoiced separately outside the stores under a proposal/SOW and are not subject to this section.

8. Intellectual property

The site, Apps and their content (text, design, code, graphics, marks, playbooks, calculators) are owned by or licensed to Seyhun Akyurek and are protected by copyright, trademark and other IP laws. Our name, logos and trade dress may not be used without written permission. Your content remains yours; by submitting it (e.g., via contact forms or in-App inputs where the App stores or transmits it), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the requested service and support.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site or Apps in violation of any law, regulation or third-party right;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe, scan, or overload the services (including exceeding rate limits documented at /developers);
  • upload malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes IP;
  • automate scraping, bulk harvesting or API abuse beyond documented limits;
  • misrepresent identity, impersonate others, or intercept data;
  • use Apps on jailbroken/rooted devices in ways that circumvent security.

We may throttle, suspend or block access to protect integrity and other users.

10. AI-generated content disclaimer

Some features use generative AI. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated and are provided for informational purposes only — not as legal, financial, medical or regulated-advice. Verify outputs before relying on them. You are responsible for how you use generated content.

11. Consulting & service engagements

Advisory, audit and implementation services referenced on the site are provided under separate proposals, statements of work or agreements. These Terms do not by themselves create a client relationship, guarantee availability, or promise any outcome, timeline or refund. Fees, scope, deliverables, warranties and termination for service engagements are governed by the applicable SOW/agreement.

12. Availability & changes

We may update, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the site or Apps at any time (including features, APIs, demos and store listings) for maintenance, security, compliance or product reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes via the site, release notes or store listing updates.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and Apps are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy or that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use them at your own risk.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seyhun Akyurek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site or Apps, even if advised of the possibility.

Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site or a given App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for that App (or subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim) or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above may not apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seyhun Akyurek from claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site or Apps, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the site or Apps if you materially breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the site at any time and delete Apps from your devices. Store subscriptions require cancellation in the store (see §7); deleting the App alone does not cancel billing. Provisions that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive termination.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with Dubai courts having jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where you are a consumer with mandatory local protections (e.g., in the EU/UK), those protections remain available. Before filing a claim, please contact us at /contact so we can seek an informal resolution within 30 days.

18. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, plus store terms where applicable and any separate SOW/agreement for services, constitute the entire agreement for the site and Apps.
  • Changes: We may update these Terms by posting the revised version and updating the “Last updated” date; material changes will be highlighted on the site or in-App. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign in connection with a reorganization.
  • Language: These Terms are drafted in English; translations are for convenience only.
